I painted a piece that portrays two people engaged in a heated argument. This piece is a commentary on the dangers of rigid thinking and the tendency for people to become entrenched in their own perspectives. The colorful dots dividing the figures represent the conflict that can occur when people refuse to see each other's point of view. Instead of standing still I hope to encourage viewers to embrace open-mindedness and understanding in their interactions with others.
