As someone who tries to meditate daily, I find myself constantly drawn to the idea of transforming my thoughts into something more tangible. Inspired by my experiences with the meditation app Headspace, I created an acrylic painting that captures this concept. In the piece, a single thought is represented by a brilliant star, its tail trailing behind it as it rises into a colorful sky. As I worked on the painting, I was reminded of the whimsical Ghibli animation Howl's Castle, where a character named Calcifer falls from the sky in the form of a star and lives within Howl's thoughts and heart. In a way, my painting embodies a similar sentiment, transforming a simple thought into a brilliant and enduring presence.
